“There’s no such place as home”. The somewhat nihilistic title sets the mood for what’s coming lyric-wise when you first listen to this record. Backdrop Falls’ debut comes with an interesting approach and unloads some anxiety-driven choruses through nine aggressive yet melodic punk rock tunes.

Three years as a band. After about two of them writing, testing new ideas and producing what would later become this record, the band finally releases their long awaited first full-length, featuring an energetic kind of punk rock sound combined with heartfelt reflexive lyrics that persistently question one’s role in modern society.
As a marketing strategy to support the album, there is a simple but smart idea: four new videos (to be released weekly) every month, being one music video, one lyric video, a live version and an acoustic version. This strategy aims to adapt the essence of the band’s characteristic sound (‘90s/’00s punk rock) to the new era of streaming services, in which the audience has become more thorough, selective and likely to change opinions. This way, each track off the record will have four different videos and will get the chance to be promoted individually, drawing attention to the concept of the album as a whole throughout the entire period of promotion of all nine tracks: nine months.
